Testbed Terms of Use

The Hydrogen Testbed has been developed by Hydrologiq allowing the industry to access a digital model of the hydrogen supply chain for non-road mobile machinery (NRMM) and create applications on top. Once approved, developers ("You") will be able to access the Testbed via a set of documented APIs to manage and query data relating to the supply chain model. The Testbed is fully owned and managed by Hydrologiq.

Testbed: The data platform hosted and managed by Hydrologiq. It stores data about the supply chain in a structure that support complex entity relationships. The data can be stored and retrieved using a query language.

APIs: A set of programmatic interface allowing developers to interact with the Testbed. Requests and responses are typically delivered over the HTTP protocol.

The Testbed should only be accessed using a set of official documented APIs. API usage will be restricted by API keys which are issued and managed by Hydrologiq. For data protection reasons, we are allowing access from EU and UK locations only.

Permitted Use

Use of the Testbed is limited to the development of Digital Catapult projects, with scope agreed between Digital Catapult, Hydrologiq and You.

Fair use

Overburdening the Testbed or attempting to circumvent access limitations or monitoring mechanisms for the Testbed is prohibited. Performance and disclosure of security tests, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, or similar activities conducted without the prior written consent of Hydrologiq is prohibited. Hydrologiq reserve to right to enforce the required level of API rate limiting to protect our service

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Hydrologiq grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, non-transferable, non-assignable right to access and use the APIs to develop, test and support your software and to distribute or allow access to your software to users of your business. You have no right to distribute or allow access to the APIs. Hydrologiq may terminate your access to our APIs at any time for any reason without prior notification.

Hydrologiq own all rights, titles, and interest in the Testbed and the APIs, including all intellectual property rights, marks, code, and features. You will not infringe, reverse engineer, or copy our code, design, or content. You will not access our APIs in order to compete with Hydrologiq's service. You own all rights, titles, and interest in the software you are developing, except for the APIs, our marks, and the Testbed. If you provide feedback about the Testbed or the APIs, Hydrologiq may copy, modify, create derivative works, display, disclose, distribute, or use that feedback without any obligation to you.

Hydrologiq owns all data in the non-private storage areas of the Testbed. You only own data added by you into the private storage areas of the Testbed. However, we reserve the right to alter the format of the data.

Technical Support

Hydrologiq will provide a reasonable level of technical support as defined in the collaboration agreement.

Service Continuity

Hydrologiq may choose to charge you for access to the Testbed after our relationship as governed by the collaboration agreement comes to an end.

You must implement and maintain appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your software. Hydrologiq will hold you liable for any impact that breaches in your security may have on the Testbed.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hydrologiq provide the Testbed and the APIs as-is. Hydrologiq do not provide warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

You may have access to confidential, proprietary, and non-public information specific to the Testbed and the APIs or data you have received via the APIs (“Confidential Information”). You may use this information only to build your software using the APIs. You will not disclose the Confidential Information to anyone without Hydrologiq's written consent, and you will protect the Confidential Information from unauthorized use and disclosure in the same way you would protect your own confidential information. You will protect the Confidential Information beyond the duration of the collaboration agreement.

Your software must comply with GDPR.

You will indemnify and hold Hydrologiq and its team harmless from any losses (including attorney fees) that result from third-party claims that relate to your use of the Testbed and the APIs.
